Thermionik's amp models will work will for bass, but you have to use some amount of discretion (as you would with any other kind of processing.) I never said the distortion itself was coming from the Kontakt library - I said that modern, realism-oriented bass sample libraries include some amount of natural decay / line noise at the end of notes for a natural feel. īased on the only clip you've provided via your support ticket (which you haven't replied to in 5 days), you're applying a huge amount of distortion to the bass, far above and beyond what is necessary for any style of music (even deathmetal.) I'd asked for an unprocessed version for comparison and analysis, but I never got a response.
